Adaptive Oxygen Therapy
What is it?
LiveO2 Adaptive Oxygen Training merges exercise with varying oxygen levels to boost fitness, accelerate recovery, and improve well-being. It induces a hypoxic state, enhancing nitric oxide release and improving circulation by dilating blood vessels. This method offers an alternative to hyperbaric oxygen therapy, targeting enhanced physical performance and health through controlled oxygen exposure during physical activity.
How does it work?
Adaptive Oxygen Training operates through a dynamic shift between elevated and reduced oxygen levels while engaging in mild physical activity. This approach allows you to experience the advantages of high-altitude training without stepping outside our wellness center. Through the strategic alternation between environments rich in oxygen (hyperoxia) and those with diminished oxygen (hypoxia), this method enhances the body's capacity to uptake and effectively use oxygen. This process results in a wide range of positive effects on your health.
What to expect
In your LiveO2 session, anticipate engaging in low-intensity exercise on a stationary bike. You'll notice an increase in exertion during the hypoxic phases when oxygen levels are reduced, lasting between 30 to 90 seconds. This sensation diminishes quickly once the hyperoxic phase, increased oxygen levels, begins.
