What is it?
Cold Plunge is the practice of immersing the body in a tub filled with cold water. This can be done before or after a warm shower or sauna or as a stand-alone treatment. The water temperature for our cold plunges typically ranges from 49 to 53 degrees Fahrenheit.
How does it work?
As soon as you enter into the brisk 50 degree water of our double filtered cold plunge your body will respond by dropping your core body temperature and constricting your blood vessels. Your body's sympathetic nervous system also kicks in (fight or flight response) and releases epinephrine into your bloodstream.
During your session, we are want to focus on two important things: How long you are able to stay in the water but most importantly how long it takes you to switch to your
Benefits:
- *Muscle Recovery: Cold therapy has been shown to help reduce inflammation and speed up the body's muscle recovery process.
*Immune System Boost: Regular cold plunges may stimulate the immune system, increasing the count of white blood cells and boosting the body's resistance to illness. - *Improved Circulation: Alternating between hot and cold temperatures can help improve circulation, aiding in flushing waste from the tissues and delivering oxygen and nutrients.
- *Mental Health Benefits: Some studies suggest that cold water immersion can boost mood and alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety. The cold stimulates the production of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers and mood elevators.
- *Increased Metabolism: Cold plunges may stimulate the body's metabolic rate, helping to increase calorie burn and potentially aid weight loss.

Compression Therapy is a transformative treatment designed to enhance circulation, reduce swelling, and speed up recovery, energizing you for the day ahead. Our spa proudly offers NormaTec Compression Therapy, a state-of-the-art recovery solution favored by athletes for its exceptional ability to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
Cryotherapy
Whole-body cryotherapy is a cold exposure therapy that exposes your body to freezing temperatures (between -100 and -110 deg) for a short period of time.
Infrared Sauna
Infrared saunas use infrared heaters to emit 3 different wavelengths of infrared light, which are absorbed directly by the body. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, infrared saunas penetrate deeper into the skin, warming your body from within. This heat promotes sweating and detoxification while providing various potential health benefits.
Red Light Therapy
Red light therapy, also called low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation, is a non-invasive treatment that uses red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular function and promote healing. Red Light Therapy does not contain any harmful UV light and has been used as a treatment since the 1960’s.
Neuro Acoustic Meditation
Neuro Acoustic Meditation utilizing binaural beats create an auditory illusion when two slightly different frequencies are played in each ear, leading the brain to perceive a third frequency. This technique is used to influence brainwave activity, promoting synchronization with states of relaxation like alpha or theta waves. NuCalm utilizes binaural beats, combined with soothing audio to guide the brain into a relaxed state, aiming to reduce stress response and enhance well-being.
PEMF Therapy
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses electromagnetic fields to promote healing and improve bodily functions. It aims to stimulate cell regeneration, reduce inflammation, and increase circulation by emitting electromagnetic waves at various frequencies to penetrate the body's tissues. PEMF therapy has been used to address a wide range of conditions, including pain relief, bone healing, and improving overall wellness.
Adaptive Oxygen Therapy
LiveO2 Adaptive Oxygen Training merges exercise with varying oxygen levels to boost fitness, accelerate recovery, and improve well-being. It induces a hypoxic state, enhancing nitric oxide release and improving circulation by dilating blood vessels. This method offers an alternative to hyperbaric oxygen therapy, targeting enhanced physical performance and health through controlled oxygen exposure during physical activity.
